My Story
Service has shaped my journey.
My work has brought me close to the challenges that shape everyday life: a student seeking support to stay in school, a caregiver trying to provide a safe home, or a family needing access to healthcare. These experiences have given purpose to my career and shaped the kind of leader I aspire to be.
With a background in community development, social work and project management, I have spent my professional life helping people access support and opportunities. Working in constituency administration, I managed office finances and supported access to education through NG-CDF bursaries. This work taught me the importance of handling public resources responsibly and giving residents clear information about the services available to them.
Beyond constituency service, I have supported HIV prevention and care, worked with caregivers to strengthen children’s welfare, and helped promote child protection and rights awareness. My work in financial inclusion has also deepened my understanding of the support people need to build more secure livelihoods.
Across these roles, one lesson has stayed with me: listening is only the beginning. People need leaders who follow up, explain decisions and remain accessible when challenges arise.
That is the commitment I bring to my aspiration to serve as MCA for Tseikuru Ward. I want to put my experience to work in representing our community, advocating for its priorities and helping residents take part in decisions that affect their lives.
My story has been shaped by service. I am ready to continue that journey with the people of Tseikuru.
